archive logging on and off
Once archive logging has
been started your database on line redo logs will be archived every time
the on-line redo fills and has to over write and existing on-line log.
As such you will generate archive logs at a rate based on your usage of
the database. This can and will fill you archive log disk, at this point
the database will stop until you make more space available for the
archive logs.
