Contribute 2
Editable Meta Data with Macromedia ContributeOne issue that is sometimes raised on the Macromedia forums is how to make the meta data of each page unique when using Dreamweaver MX templates in conjunction with Contribute. With Dreamweaver MX this is no problem whether you use templates or not, but what if the client wants to use Contribute to maintain their own site?
Extending Contribute
Using Cascading Style Sheets in ContributeWith custom classes Contribute users can select from the list of defined classes and apply them to whatever element they wish. How to hide custom classes in ContributeContribute users cannot create CSS files, but they can use the custom classes that have been linked to the page by the site administrator. Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) used in Contribute sites are normally created in Dreamweaver.
Setting up a site connection in ContributeIn order to edit pages in a site using Macromedia Contribute, you will need to set up a connection to the site. Once this connection is established, Contribute will be able to access the existing pages, and create new pages. Macromedia and Contribute are trademarks or registered trademarks of Macromedia, Inc. in the United States and/or other countries.
