Concordance 8 and Opticon 3 - Beginner Level
This Beginner Level Concordance 8 and Opticon 3 is designed for anyone interested in litigation management technology. It takes the right skills, the right information, the right tools, and the right employees to succeed. Now you can strengthen your knowledge base in litigation management technology and increase your potential for career advancement by learning Concordance 8 and Option 3. You will learn how to organize and prepare documents, transcripts, and electronic data for litigation. In addition, you will be able to: describe standard Concordance database structures, view document records, sort document records, search databases for document records, save searches, view document images, tag document records, apply issues and annotations to document records, and print document records and images. This course is specifically designed to teach attorneys, paralegals, document clerks, legal secretaries, and other individuals the basics to transfer this training into actual usage in an office setting. The only prerequisite for this course is knowledge of basic computer operation.

Concordance 8 - Intermediate Level
Upon completion of this intermediate level course, students will be able to: understand and communicate the capabilities of the Concordance 8 database, understand litigation support definitions, and create a Concordance 8 database from scratch. In addition, once the database is created the learner will be able to perform data entry in the database, and load data into the database as well. The learner will also be able to manipulate data within the database by performing advanced searching techniques. Finally, this course will give the learner many of the necessary skills to move from an end-user level in Concordance 8 to a more advanced intermediate level of knowledge in Concordance 8 which will enhance the learner's potential for advancement is the litigation support profession.
